  • Walker Hound Willie is about as handsome as he is tall, sweet as he is fun and eager for a fun life full of love and family time as well as mischief and silliness. Willie is seriously handsome, like for real, at about 4 years old and about 60 lbs. He has a coat that is in wonderful condition, mostly white but with the tri colored markings that are so handsome and striking in his breed. Willie zooms in the fields with a smile literally on his face, ears aflapping and eyes happy and bright. He is everything that is wonderful about his breed, including am ambassador of goodwill and friendliness to every dog he has met, a nose that can smell the news easily and a good attitude that finds fun and joy in most anything. Willie has great crate manners, waits his turn for time out and meals and never complains and while he suspect he has a hound voice, he does not use it willie nilly and we in fact have never heard it. Willie would be a fabulous companion in a family of any number, would likely do well with children of any age and pack from 2 to 10 when it comes to other dogs. He is active and will enjoy regular walks and activities wherein he can use his nose his muscles, ideally at the same time. Don't miss out on Willie, he is truly a gem! Please note we are working with limited staff/volunteers at this time. For full details of our current adoption appointment policy, please see Highlights: We are working with a very limited staff/volunteer base We do not have the people power to respond to emails/call about specific dogs Our appointments are limited to 2 people at a time and for a maximum of 30 minutes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at . Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
