  • Ritchie is a strikingly handsome plott hound mix, and we've been told that he's quite proud to be repping our state dog - the Plott Hound. Being a young man of about 2 years old, and weighing in close to 50 lbs, Ritchie would be well-suited for a home with an active family. The opportunity to strut his stuff and show the world just how handsome he is, plus being outside and getting plenty of exercise, like hiking our state parks or even going on long walks in the evening, would work well for him. Like other Plott Hounds, he is a smart boy and would probably enjoy learning new tricks and having a home, with plenty of consistency. True to his breed, he is very scent driven and he would do best in a home with a fenced in yard so that he can follow scents safely off leash. He is social and a pack dog, so he would be open to being a companion to another dog. Come visit Ritchie at the farm, and he will be happy to show you how he can assist you get your daily steps in!
