Maureen adopted June, Benny’s sister, and her new name is Palmer. Palmer is with a loving family and just reinforces why it is so important to help rescue these great dogs. Maureen said, “Jake’s (the former Benny) sister is getting along just great with her new sister Bella!! They are such a wonderful pair!!! Many thanks to all who helped us along the way!!!”

Alison and Lance Dog Rescue Flight
Our good friend Kristen from Wilson County Humane Society contacted us again to see if we could take two dogs up to LaMancha Animal Rescue outside Philadelphia, PA. Kristen and Kim run one of the best rescues in North Carolina. Their dogs are the sweetest most lovable dogs we have come across.
Leroy’s Big Bumpy Rescue Flight
Leroy is a Brown/Black, Pit Mix weighing around 71 pounds. A woman in Wilson, NC came home to find Leroy in her backyard playing with her little dog. Evidently he jumped the fence and decided to stay. She contacted the shelter to see if someone was looking for him but no one ever did.

Benny and June Go North
This rescue flight was in memory of our dog, Dude Rhode 3/2/02 – 2/23/16
We were looking for a flight to for February 23rd. It was the anniversary of our loosing our beloved dog Dude. Our boy, who we named the plane after and who you hear barking at the beginning of each of our videos, was special. We didn’t want to sit around and be sad all day, we wanted a way to honor Dude in a way that was befitting such a beautiful, funny, loving and friendly family member.
