Mike Marlo from Flying Mutts Rescue contacted Steve about flying four puppies up to the rescue, Bandits Place in Connecticut. There were two sets of two puppies, four pups in total, coming out of Halifax County SPCA near South Boston, Virginia. (more…)

We were contacted by Kristen in Wilson, NC, whom we have worked with before and she had a rescue that was coming right out of a kill shelter and going to LaMancha Animal Rescue in Coatesville, PA. LaMancha is a wonderful rescue located on a rural farm in PA that started out rescuing horses and grew to rescue all types of animals. They are a wonderful caring group and any animal taken there will either find a wonderful family or become one of the farm family. Either way it’s a wonderful life. (more…)

Researchers down under have discovered an additional lifesaving benefit of having a dog in your life. According to a recent study found that when people were reunited with their dog after being apart, their heart rates began to quickly sync up with the more relaxed heartbeat of their dog. (more…)

On this flight we had a chance to transport a couple of the cutest Beagle pups you’ve ever seen. The smaller one, tater Tot, was so full of energy and love. Ann from the local rescue certainly shed more than one tear when they left.
