The nonprofit group Animal Rescue Flights (ARF) has just made an important and fundamental change to the way they rescue dogs. It’s worth paying attention to.
Facing being put down the next day, these lovely puppies were rescued and made it safely to new homes, thanks to some awesome teamwork.

The flight for Big Mac and Willow was memorable for sure. It was the first time we had a volunteer with us on the plane and it was a wonderful experience.
I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with two people in Wilson, North Carolina over lunch. These two women would probably be the first people to object to me calling them heroes, but that is what they are, like it or not.
Nearly every single day in America a volunteer pilot is helping someone in some way to do good things. These volunteer pilots serve in a number of capacities, from flying patients to much needed medical care, to flying dogs from certain death in kill shelters or from animal rescues.
Bentley was a 2-year-old lab-retriever mix who was surrendered by his owner because he had become too strong for her to handle.
Well we will not be able to make any flights till probably the end of January, 2016. It’s a good news / bad news situation.
